VICENTE TORNS is a family-owned group with an international reach, dedicated to the research, development, production, and marketing of copper and aluminum products for various sectors (energy, automotive, construction, infrastructure, etc.).
\nFounded in 1924, its headquarters are in Rub\u00ed (Barcelona, \u200b\u200bSpain), and it has a presence in several countries worldwide with production and distribution centers.

HISTORY<\/h2><\/div>

VICENTE TORNS S.A.U. began operations in 1924, specializing in the manufacture and sale of semi-finished copper products. This extensive experience and tradition, both nationally and internationally, has earned the company a leading position within its industry. Over the years, the company has developed its own technology, enabling it to maintain the highest quality standards and tailor its products to meet the specific needs of its customers. A constantly developing team committed to quality and customer service, along with state-of-the-art technology, define the organization’s identity.<\/p>\n

VICENTE TORNS is one of the leading companies nationally and internationally in the processing of copper and aluminum for use in the electrical sector (Industrial, Automotive, Construction).<\/p>\n

Since 2003, the company has experienced significant growth and development of its facilities and manufacturing processes, leading to an increase in its production capacity to efficiently and effectively meet the evolving needs of its customers and markets.<\/p>\n

As part of its development plan, the company has undertaken an internationalization process, conceived as an ambitious project to be carried out in several stages. The VICENTE TORNS group’s international presence will be achieved through the creation of companies with an industrial and commercial focus. The group will consist of manufacturing companies, for which new production plants will be implemented, and will also strengthen its commercial presence through the opening of new distribution companies that will serve as platforms for marketing the group’s products.<\/p>\n

Under this plan, the distribution companies VICENTE TORNS DISTRIBUTION S.L. (Spain), VICENTE TORNS DISTRIBUTION FRANCE, and VICENTE TORNS DISTRIBUTION ITALY were established.<\/p>\n

In 2007, VICENTE TORNS SLOVAKIA a.s., the group’s second industrial plant, was created with the aim of providing full coverage of the European market and strengthening its presence in Eastern European countries. This plant focuses on entirely new product lines, based primarily on enameling technology. The ideal location of this new plant provides a strong competitive advantage, offering high flexibility in logistics and distribution.<\/p>\n

Since the end of March 2017, the former SOFILEC, now operating as TORNS SOFILEC, has been part of the VICENTE TORNS group. SOFILEC (Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Fils et C\u00e2bles) was founded in 1986. In 2005, SOFILEC acquired BUISIN, a company with 58 years of history. With these two production plants in France, the VICENTE TORNS group not only increases its production capacity but also expands its technical expertise, particularly in all aspects of HF Litz, connecting cables, polyamide tapes, finished windings, and connecting pieces.<\/p>\n

In March 2021, DELLE FIL SAS, also located in France, was acquired. DELLE FIL is the culmination of over 100 years of history, dating back to ISOLA in Switzerland, which began insulating with mica at the beginning of the 20th century. With this new addition to the group, the company is clearly defined as having the broadest range of products and services in the field of electrical conductors in Europe, covering all market applications. This milestone represents a step forward in its strategy to consolidate its position as a key partner in wind energy, adding new products to its portfolio, such as fiberglass conductors. It also strengthens its presence in other sectors, including the addition of enamelled aluminum strip and high-temperature enamelled wire to its product range. DELLE FIL’s technology and extensive experience in enamelled copper busbar, as well as in HF LITZ and special cables (SST), will strengthen the group’s entry into the electric vehicle sector.<\/p>\n

In April 2022, the VT Group acquired APAREL, Aparellaje Electrot\u00e9cnico S.A., a company dedicated to the manufacture of copper and aluminum parts, with its own electroplating facilities that allow for the in-house integration of tin plating and silver plating of parts, both statically and on drums.<\/p>\n

With this acquisition, in addition to being able to supply customers with the VT Group’s traditional products, we will be able to offer finished parts for assembly by our end customers.<\/p>\n

The objective of the VT Group’s acquisition of Aparel is part of VTSAU’s growth strategy, increasing production capacity and the product range for the low-voltage electrical sector, including manufacturers of electrical panels, inverters, car chargers, fuse bases and fuses, and circuit breakers. and cells.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
