Vicente Torns Announces Its First Production Plant in the United States

Vicente Torns continues to advance its international expansion plan with a strategic investment in Ohio (USA), where the company will launch its first production plant in the country in 2027.

The new facility, located in West Liberty (Logan County, Ohio), will be dedicated to the manufacture of copper and aluminum conductors for electrical transformers, strengthening the company’s ability to serve the North American market in the energy, industrial and mobility sectors.

The project includes the creation of 108 new jobs and involves the acquisition, renovation and expansion of an existing building, as well as the installation of new production machinery. With more than a century of history and three generations carrying forward the family business project, Vicente Torns has established itself as a global benchmark in the manufacture of copper and aluminum conductors.

This investment represents an important milestone in Vicente Torns’ international growth strategy and reinforces the company’s commitment to innovation, proximity to its customers and the development of solutions for the energy transition.
